Steven Vella

Steven Vella is the Founder of Vellavision LLC. Clients refer to him as a financial therapist, a voice of reason and calm during what can be for many a stressful real estate transaction. Steve’s positive outlook not only on life but people is just part of what attracts clients, referral partners, friends, and family to him.
A native Bay Area resident Steve grew up in San Bruno surrounded by aunts, uncles, and cousins. Steve’s deep rooted core beliefs are family, nature and helping others. Those are the big three of life. Enjoying beaches over the hill in Pacifica, Moss Beach and Half Moon Bay, the views of the airport at night, the parks that the San Mateo Peninsula had to offer was an amazing way to grow up in the 70’s and early 80’s. In 1990 he moved to Marin County as this was a place, he found to be on a level of the San Mateo Peninsula in terms of natural beauty and a great place to eventually raise a family. Going on bike rides, traveling, making great meals with his wife, daughter, and extended family, and participating in match play golf events are his oxygen and energy that recharge him to perform for his clients on such a high level.

Steve was the youngest loan officer ever hired at the age of 23 by Home Savings of America, the number one lender in the nation at the time as well as a Fortune 400 company. Steve has been in the top 1% of all mortgage originators in the country for over 30 years.  He received a real estate license in 1989 and his Brokers license in 2008. Steve is a 20-time President’s Club winner for production. Steve has closed over 5,000 loans for over 2.0 billion dollars.

They say when you have put 10,000 hours into your craft, you’re an expert. Steve has over 88,000 hours not including time he has spent in managing his own real estate projects. You simply won’t find a more experienced knowledgeable person when it comes to the nuances of financing, owning, building, or managing real estate.
